Am I Affected by This Regulation?
Applicability: This regulation applies to businesses selling products in the EU. If you do not sell to EU customers, these changes will not affect you.
I sell my products in the EU. What do I need to do?
All sellers with products sold in the EU need to ensure their product listings comply with the new regulation by including:
- Manufacturer’s and/or contact information from a responsible person in the EU
- Any relevant product details
- Product safety and compliance information like warnings and safety details
Required Contact InformationUnder the GPSR, you must disclose the following details for economic operators (manufacturers or EU-based representatives):
If Located in the EU: Provide your postal address and contact information as the manufacturer.
If Located Outside the EU:
- Manufacturer: Name, address, and email.

Note:
- According to the GPSR, manufacturer refers to any natural or legal person who manufactures a product or has a product designed or manufactured, and markets that product under that person’s name or trademark.
- An EU representative’s information is mandatory if the manufacturer is not EU-based. This representative assumes responsibility for GPSR compliance
How do I update products in my store?
- Visit our Product Catalog to access updated compliance templates.
- Copy and paste relevant information into your product descriptions.
- For platforms like Shopify and Etsy: Directly integrate required details into new listings.
What will safety information or labels include?
The information on labels and in product descriptions will differ from product to product. Yoycol will ensure that the information conforms to the laws in the regions you are selling to.
