What is Direct-to-Film Transfer Printing?
DTF printing applies designs onto a special PET film using CMYK + White inks, then heat-transfers them onto garments using a hot-melt adhesive powder. It works on almost any fabric type and color, making it one of the most versatile print methods.

Is DTF better than DTG?

How durable are DTF prints?
DTF prints are highly durable — lasting 60+ washes with proper care. The hot-melt adhesive creates a strong bond, and the print has excellent stretch resistance, making it suitable for activewear and sportswear.
Can DTF print on polyester?
Yes — this is one of DTF's biggest advantages over DTG. DTF transfers bond well to polyester, nylon, spandex, and all synthetic fabrics, making it the preferred method for sportswear and activewear.
What is the cost difference between DTF and DTG?
